As you can imagine, there are plenty of choices for frying pans on the UK market. They are made by many different kitchen brands, and each brand will have a range of models.
In this article though we are really only interested in what we term budget, or good value frying pans. Frying pans, depending on the features that you want, can range anything from £5-50+.

This one is a 28 cm or 11″ sized frying pan, which is ideal for most family sizes. It costs under £9, and is a non-stick pan that certainly sells a lot.
It has attracted a buyer satisfaction rate of around 88%, so clearly buyers like this model. It is of course from the very popular Ikea brand.
It is made from aluminium, black in colour and weighs around 580 grams.
It is quite a large pan, and can easily make a breakfast for 2-3 people. Please don’t wash this one in a dishwasher, as they will over time, remove the non-stick coating. It is easy enough to clean. Just allow it to cool and then wash with washing up liquid and hot water.

This is the cheapest one that we could find, that still had very positive reviews from buyers. This one costs under £6, and yet those who have bought it, like it a lot.
Overall is has achieved a buyer satisfaction rating of 80%. That is pretty good. This pan is easy to use, easy to clean and it can be washed in a dishwasher.
It is a 20 cm pan (8″) That size of pan is ideal for 1-2 people. It is very light in weight.

If we had to pick just one of these, we would advise you to go for number three. That is the best quality, and we also think it is the best value for money. However all of these will do your frying really well.
