Tips for Boiling Milk
When boiling milk, the milk does tend to break down and can quickly form a light coating on the saucepan. If you lightly rub the saucepan with vegetable oil first, then the coating left is barely noticeable.
If you don't want to use vegetable oil, then simply wet the saucepan with water first. Some people recommend leaving 1-2 tablespoons of water in the pan, and then adding the milk. This works really well.
Try to never let milk boil over as it will burn, and can be really difficult to remove.
